I've been baking bread and giving myself a creative challenge: shoot every loaf and flavor with a consistent, streamlined look and feel. Eight flavors and eight shoots later, I'm pretty happy with how the photos look across the Arctic Sourdough site.
Here's an album of lovely loaves. I shot each one fresh from the oven in my mini studio, next to a window with natural light. The setup is simple: a cutting board and a cloth, plus a couple of the ingredients from that loaf to give each shoot some variety.
The best part was eating the bread with some EVOO after each session… yum. Gotta reward myself for a job well done.
